Tuesday evening, US Secretary of State John Kerry landed in Manila as reported by Department of Foreign Affairs representative Assistant Secretary Charles Jose.
Kerry is set to meet with Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay and President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday.

In a past explanation issued by Mark Toner, deputy State Department representative, Kerry will talk about with Duterte and Yasay a full scope of two-sided collaboration with the new administration.
The Presidential Communications Office depicted Duterte's meeting with Kerry as "an offer to fortify ties once again with the US."
