Duterte appoints Robredo as HUDCC head

At long last, a Cabinet post for Vice President Ma. Leonor "Leni" Robredo. 


President Rodrigo Duterte has named Robredo as leader of the administration's Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar affirmed Thursday. 

Robredo confirmed that she accepted the position and thanked the President for giving her the chance to be the head of HUDCC.

"Nagapapasalamat tayo kay Pres. Duterte sa pagbigay sa akin ng posisyong ito. Siguradong matutulungan natin ang ating mga kababayan na nangagailangan ng ating serbisyo sa pabahay," Robredo said.

The said poistion was also handled by former VP Binay during his term.
