The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor) has not dispatched P24 billion to the legislature because of the treasury's inability to legitimately charge the state gambling controller, as per a report by the Commission on Audit.
Records demonstrated Pagcor neglected to transmit the whole P76.3 billion from its gross income of P158.1 billion from 2011 to 2014. All out settlements for the period were short by P24,053,929,055.82, the report said.
The Bureau of Treasury has requested that Pagcor in composing transmit the said sum, it said.
President Rodrigo Duterte said a week ago Pagcor profit would be utilized to store medicinal services ventures for poor people.
