President Benigno Aquino III will exchange control then to President-choose Rodrigo Duterte as the nation's new head of state.
"Handang-handa na siyang lumisan sa araw ng Huwebes, ika-30 ng Hunyo," Presidential Spokesman Sonny Coloma said Thursday.
Coloma said Aquino and Duterte will meet before the last takes his vow as the nation's sixteenth President.
Taking after convention that was begun by President Manuel Roxas, the approaching President gets the occupant President from Malacañang Palace.

Amid the move from the Commonwealth Government under the Americans to the new Republic of the Philippines on July 4, 1946, Roxas brought President Sergio Osmeña from Malacañan and after that, together, continued to the venue of his introduction. This motion shows the congruity of government.
