Duterte to De Lima: I will kill her 'with love'

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte joked on Tuesday around a commentator, previous Justice Secretary and approaching Senator Leila de Lima. 

Amid his discourse before businesspeople in Davao City, the leader again focused on the need to go hard on medication syndicates, and that human rights promoters ought not act as a burden.

"On the off chance that De Lima does not close her mouth, I will kill her- - with love. Kung pumayag siya, I don't have the foggiest idea," he said. 


De Lima, a previous head of the Commission on Human Rights, prior cautioned Duterte against falling back on additional legal killings. She has additionally scrutinized his connections to the Davao Death Squad.
