In the midst of reactions that death punishment does not dissuade wrongdoing, President-choose Rodrigo Duterte is not going to rethink its rebuilding. 

For him it's not just about debilitating wrongdoing — Duterte said death punishment for him, is requital. 

"Para madiscourage ang tao magcommit ng wrongdoing in light of the fact that there is capital punishment," Duterte said. "Yung death penalty to me is revenge. Magbayad ka sa ginawa mo sa buhay na 'to." 

While the president-choose is firm on bringing back capital punishment, Duterte is likewise not going to down on his battle against debasement. 

Duterte again communicated his annoyance towards defilement. 

He said he won't endure government laborers connected to defilement. 


"Huwag na huwag talaga akong makarinig na corruption, [not] even a whiff or whisper. I will fire you or spot you some place."
