Duterte, Marcos lead partial results of local absentee voting

Presidential front runner Rodrigo Duterte and VP hopeful Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. topped the halfway results of local absentee voting, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) unveiled on Tuesday evening (May 10, 2016). 

In a tweet, Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon uncovered the fractional and unofficial results for local absentee voting, from 11 out of 49 election returns (ER). 

Duterte is in front of his opponents with 2,036 votes; trailed by presidential competitors Jejomar Binay with 953, Grace Poe with 375, Mar Roxas with 340, and Miriam Defensor-Santiago with 286. 


Then, Marcos is in front of his opponents with 2,430 votes; trailed by bad habit presidentiables Leni Robredo with 491, Antonio Trillianes IV with 458, Alan Peter Cayetano with 322, Chiz Escudero with 185, and Gringo Honasan with 84.
