One Cebu party list vows 1M votes for Duterte

One Cebu party, led by its gubernatorial competitor Winston Garcia, declared its backing for PDP Laban presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte, vowing to convey a one-million votes in the May presidential elections. 

Garcia said that the gathering achieved its choice to advocate Duterte after meeting with him late Saturday, amid which it "turned into an intelligent and clear remain for One Cebu to endorse one of its own, and a Bisaya for President." 

"Winner ta, Duterte dad," said Garcia, who focused on that the gathering settled on its choice to back Duterte, who follows his roots to Danao, after a broad and exhaustive discussion with individuals and the blossoming supporters of the gathering. 

"Kabahan na kayo," an euphoric Duterte said, alluding to his presidential adversaries, in the wake of being educated of One Cebu's staggering choice to back him. 


Duterte and running mate Cayetano have been charming vote-rich Cebu even preceding One Cebu's support. 

Garcia said that the Cebuanos will accomplish for Duterte what it did in 2004. 

"History will repeat itself in this election" said Garcia, alluding to the one-million vote contrast which the gathering conveyed for the presidential champ of 2004.
