Kris Aquino cries foul over chopper issue: Binubugbog ako sa social media

Kris Aquino on Thursday approached people for backing amid the Liberal Party campaign held in Hagonoy, Bulacan. 

As indicated by the younger sister of President Benigno Aquino III, she is being bashed online by individuals who blame their family for being damaging.

Kris Aquino said, "Binubugbog po ako sa social media, sinasabi mapang-abuso daw ang pamilyang Aquino, makapal daw ang mukha namin dahil ginagamit ko daw ang presidential chopper para mangampanya."

Photographs demonstrating the President and his sister touching base in Dalaguete, Cebu by means of choppers with the presidential seal have turned into a web sensation and drew negative responses from netizens, who think the family is utilizing the choppers as a part of campaigning for Liberal Party leading figure Mar Roxas. 

"Puwede bang ipagtanggol niyo ako? Kasi sa totoo lang po, one hour na po ako naghihintay," she said. "Ang mga guards na kasama ko naloka na lang nang sinabi ko maglakad na tayo, dahil nakakahiyang paghintayin ang Hagonoy," she told the general population, who reacted in a bright hubbub. 


She prior reported on Instagram that she would be a long break from showbiz. 


On Friday, she showed up in a campaign rally for the Liberal Party's (LP) applicants and communicated bolster over again for Roxas and his running mate Leni Robredo. 

President Aquino, in the mean time, reminded the general population that his sister is among the nation's top individual tazpayers and that he is just sharing her a few "achievement." 

"Nagkamalay siya kung kailan dapang-dapa kami bilang isang pamilya. Gusto ko naman ipakita sa kanya, tignan mo ang resulta na talagang nagiging makabuluhan, may saysay itong demokrasya na ipinaglaban ng mga magulang natin," he said. 

"Whether it is an individual taxpayer or someone who is very close to me who shared all of the burdens, I think it is just proper to share the successes. Share kami sa hirap, share kami sa successes," he included.

In an instant message, Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma said: "Individuals from the President's immediate family are permitted to ride with him in authority government vehicles."
