Rumor or true? INC will soon announce backing for Duterte

The religious group Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) is supposed to report soon its backing for PDP-Laban presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and his running mate Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano. 

Report says that bits of gossip originating from Iglesia ni Cristo individuals uncovered that they have chosen to vote in favor of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on May 9, 2016 presidential race. 

It said that the Iglesia ni Cristo is going to demonstrate that their backing is not available to be bought like what other individuals thought. 

We are choosing the right candidate, we are looking at their background and performance, we do not support any corrupt candidate” One of the Iglesia ni Cristo member said to our source.

The tough-talking mayor Rodrigo Duterte, the gossip said, got the greatest opportunity to get the backing of this religious gathering in view of his great reputation. 


The INC has subsequent supported the previous three winning presidential competitors, Benigno Aquinoo III, Joseph Estrada and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Since the senior Manalo passed on a year ago, his child Eduardo Manalo has driven the cryptic, profoundly trained religious gathering established by his granddad Felix in 1914. 

The INC is relied upon to report its wagers for national posts before the May 9 national and neighborhood decisions.
