Word war continues: "Naniwala pala sya?", Duterte says to Aquino

Responding to the critic of President Aquino (Read: PNoy fires back at Duterte: Pakiliwanag naman, kuya), Duterte jested that his announcement on resigning the position was only a joke. 

"Naniwala pala siya (Aquino)? He's the president, nagbibiro lang ako," the 71-year-old mayor said. 

Duterte also criticized Aquino's successor, Mar Roxas, saying that the latter will neglect to wipe out hoodlums as president.

"Kung ako si Roxas, naging presidente, 50 years, walang mama accomplish," Duterte said. 

The mayor prior assaulted Roxas for being ineffective amid his time as secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) and head of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). 

The seven-term mayor, meanwhile, laughed at a recent PNP report positioning Davao as the fourth city with the most elevated number of file violations from 2010 to 2015. 

Duterte called attention to that the DILG, which oversees the PNP, prior granted the city an authentication of good administration, a gathered confirmation of his turf's quiet state.
