COMELEC over highlighted ballots: a digital fake

"I don't know where that highlighted ballot came from. Not from @COMELEC, for sure. No proof of authenticity. Could be a digital fake," said COMELEC spokesperson James Jimenez on April 9, 2016 via his Twitter account.

This is in response of the alleged highlighted names of Liberal Party standard bearers Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo. (Read: Duterte supporters appeal for an investigation over ballots with highlighted names of LP candidates)

He also added, "This ridiculous highlighted ballot has got even smart guys wondering. Not because it makes sense, but because it pops up so often."
