PNoy to Duterte's ironhand Presidency: 'Should we not worry about our future?'

Just this Monday, March 28, 2016, the most powerful leader of the country, President Benigno Aquino III, finally airs his standpoint ever since the campaign period has started against the opponents of Mar Roxas, administration's presidential bet.

On the Liberal Party's proclamation rally held in Plaza Miranda, Manila, the president fortified his support to the LP's standard bearer by hitting hard on Roxas' rivals as he singled out every one of them except Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago whose battle for cancer continues.

Starting with the iron-fist Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, PNoy recalled the former saying how bloody his presidency would be (as he is going to order killings to wipe out criminals) when won on May elections. Aquino also stressed his worry over Mayor Digong's leadership by his caveat for the upcoming elections; asking whether or not he's the only one who agonizes what our future would become when the Mayor rose to power, the highest in the country this time.

Though Human Rights activists lambast the tough Mayor for being ruthless on his advocacy to eradicate crime, vast majority of Filipinos, here and abroad, don't have qualms in believing he is the type of leader our country desperately needs today to strongly combat crime, stop corruption and end drug abuse and therefore suppress the Filipinos' long time suffering from poverty and grow its economy while securing its stability.

Senator Grace Poe and Vice President Jejomar Binay, on the other hand, were also not able to escape from the President's sermon. However, sans slamming Grace with her nationality issue, Aquino questions the senator opting to put Querubin as her anti-crime czar in case she gets elected due to his background in Philippine Marines instead of someone who is more suitable in the said position, differentiating duties of the cops vis-a-vis soldiers.

Colonel Querubin is currently working as security consultant under the company of Poe's campaign funder - Ramong Ang, San Miguel Corporation's owner. This decision-making argument thus signaled Noynoy to then proceed on his next rant to Poe about her incompetency to lead the country due to, as what a lot usually toss onto her, lack of experience.

Pres. Noynoy, meanwhile, compared himself to Binay as far as accommodating public questions and facing government issues involving themselves are concerned. The former highlighted that unlike him, VP Binay seem to always avoid these long-time-waiting-to-be-answered questions like the plague to the point that the veracity of the said decreases which, as per Aquino, separates him from the ex-Makati Mayor.

Given this act of PNoy, does this shake down your faith towards your preferred candidate? Or would it not change a thing? Well, we'll leave it up to you so share your thoughts with us on the comment section below.
