CBCP denies 'block voting' for Roxas-Robredo tandem

The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCPdisproved another hoax post which asserts that the Catholic Church is requiring a "block voting" for the administration tandem of Manuel "Mar" Roxas II and Ma. Leonor "Leni" Robredo.

Block voting is a type of voting system where a large number of people will band together and vote the same way with all of their stock shares in a single block.

In undermining the gathered call for piece voting, the CBCP refered to the aide issued by CBCP President and Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas to Catholic voters a year ago.

Villegas said, “Reject claims by candidates that they are candidates of the CBCP, or of a diocese, or of a particular bishop.  It has never been the practice of the Catholic Church to hold out a candidate to the faithful as the ‘chosen’ candidate of the Church.”
