jessa vs starbucks

On the recent dead mouse issue of Starbucks, many were puzzled if the allegation of Jessa is indeed true. Several netizens already gave their perspective on the story and most are not convinced that Jessa is saying the truth as there is no evidence yet confirming the veracity of her story.

Having said that, if proven that Jessa was just trying to destroy the image of the famous coffee shop, she might be sued by Starbucks.

Oral defamation, which is also often called slander, is a malevolent act of spreading false statements about someone or something else, in a way that is intended to cause damage or that does create harm.

Mainly, slander is similar to malign gossip. A person unfurls an untrue story about someone or something else to others. He or she might redo the story multiple times or address a group of people and convey the story to them all at once. Generally, the more people who hear the libelous statements, the more harm it might be likely to cause their subjects.

Oral Defamation is a serious matter since one can be jailed if found guilty. Serious slander is subject to judicial punishment by imprisonment.
