Donna Cruz  returns to showbiz after almost 20 long years since she decided to take a break. But last year, the actress-singer seemed to set a dramatic comeback as her video while singing "Let it go" from the hit animated film "Frozen" went viral. The netizens can't help but be amazed of her timeless beauty and talent for singing.

Donna, now 38, is from a clan where Showbiz runs in the blood. Tirso Cruz, Sheryl Cruz, Rayver and Rodjun Cruz are just some of her relatives who proved their name in the same industry.

She emerged to stardom in the 90s and dubbed as the Original Multimedia Star. At age of twenty, Cruz was the highest paid exclusive VIVA artist, specifically in the VIVA Entertainment talent roster, in history. The singer earned ₱77 million in 1997 alone. Viva Entertainment even calls her the most successful OPM female artist of the 1990s.

Cruz is the voice behind the hits "Kapag tumibok ang puso", "Isang tanong, Isang sagot" and "Wish". She also starred in the movie Isang tanong, Isang Sagot, DoReMi, and more.

Donna is managed by Shirley Kuan since the former started. Donna is also the first artist that Shirley ever handled.

Recently, the artist signed a contract of recording for Star Music, an ABS-CBN recording company, and a new soap.
